This is Yoda.

Yeah, i know, he looks a little more like a Chewbacca, but we already have a Chewbacca in the family.

He is a Pekingese Pomeranian mix. I got him out by Duxberry, the guy who had him didn't charge me for him.

I have been asking Cliff and Lynette for a dog since i've moved in. Saturday night i went out with my sisters and after a very long talk we decided that it would be in my best interest for me to get a dog. I agreed. I was up all night saturday, at around 4 in the morning i became manic. It was euphoric till about 11 that morning, then i passed out for a few hours. Between 4 and 11 i had a talk with Lynette. We talked a bit and i told her about how i have been feeling and all that stuff. she told me to start talking to Cliff about it.

So i did, he was leary but he said yes.

That night we went to the park to play with Ethan, we had a lot of fun. While i was there i was thinking about what kind of dog i was going to get. Though i was still somewhat manic, i didn't feel like i was there. I just really took pictures.

When we returned home i looked at the paper for different adds for dogs. Nothing really sparked my interest. Lynette went out to smoke and decided to talk to our neighbor to see if she knew where any dogs are. She directed Lynette to a guy on Facebook. She contacted him and started talking about the dogs he had. We were told they are 7 weeks old, there's a boy and a girl. Buck and Lilly. He sent us a picture, asked Cliff if we could go get the dog and he didn't seem to happy about it. I don't think he thought we would be getting one this soon. Lynette and i left. It was a 9 mile drive and i think it took 9 hours to get there.

When we FINALLY got there i went into the garage and saw two little puppies sleeping together on the floor of a cage. Lilly was the first one handed to me. I just didn't feel anything when i had her, so i passed her to Lynette and took Buck. I felt it with him. I chose him.

I had to call mom and ask to borrow some money to get him food and some toys, she said i could so we went out to see her. We got out to my house it was just dad home at the time. Obi and B were very happy to see me, till they saw i had a puppy in my hands.

Then we waited for Amber, Mom and Julie to get home. We all sat and visited in the living room for a while. I really missed mom and dad so it was nice talking to them.

Ethan and Yoda LOVE eachother. Ethan laughs pretty much whenever Yoda moves. Today Ethan fell, Yoda went over to make it better by kissing his face. That only made Ethan more mad though.

I need Yoda. I am so thankful they let me get him, he makes me so happy. I'm connecting with him more than i have with Obi or B. All we really do is snuggle. He follows me EVERYWHERE! I am about to shower, i'm afraid he will stand outside and whine the entire time.

All and all i'm pretty happy with Yoda.
