Usually i am very nice when it comes to calling Customer Service. I'm nice because i know that i would hate working in customer service. People are stupid.

I've had to call Straight Talk, MANY times, complaining about several different things.

Yesterday i called because i wasn't able to receive or send picture messages, about my phone freezing, my browser not accessing the internet.

The woman had me clear my phone's history. Ok. Then she had me take my battery out. Ok. Then she had me make a test phone call and hang up as soon as it rings. That's great. Considering that i have NO trouble with calling. I got frustrated. I asked what i needed to do to fix this 'piece of shit phone'. She told me she couldn't do anything and i hung up.

Today, i called again. My phone froze 2 times while taking pictures. I have had it.

So i get customer service, i tell this new girl my problem about having it freeze.

She tells me to go to my browser, clear my history and then take my battery out and make a test phone call.

A TEST PHONE CALL FOR A FREAKIN' CAMERA ISSUE!?!? That's bullshit. And i told her. So she has me go plug in my phone to charge it.

Yeah, because charging it is going to help it not freeze.

Then she has me try to send a text to myself.

That's when i lost my shit. I demanded a new phone. I told her that i'm a very unhappy customer and that i'm going to switch to another company if this is not fixed.

So, they're sending me a new phone.

I'll get a box in the mail, in 3 business days. That means i MAY get it friday. If it doesn't come friday, then it will come monday. Great. Then i send my phone in, and it will take 3 business days for them to get my phone. Then they hold my phone in their warehouse for about 4 days then send me a replacement phone, which will take another three business days.

Ok, do the math. We're talking about business days, this means saturday and sunday are cut out.
I'll get the box friday or moday (probably monday) That's 4 days away. Then i send the box in. That's another three days. That leaves us at Thursday.

Then once they get it at the warehouse it will stay there for about 4 business days. Do the math. They'll send it back thursday. And since they're sending it on a thursday i won't get my package till monday.

You lost? That's 17 days.

I'm mad as hell.

Moral of the story? Being poor sucks. So does being a teenager, who is always texting, calling, emailing and on facebook. I pay 45 a month for unlimited everything. It's the cheepest plan available when it comes to an unlimited plan. I can't afford getting a phone that actually works, then paying 70 a month to get everything i need.

Get a job. Go to college. Don't be poor. Otherwise everything just kinda sucks.

I told them that they are componsating me for the days my phone is inactive that i PAID for. Ugh.

It'd probably be easier just to get a new phone. That's $60 bucks that i don't have.



On a side note, i dyed my hair last night and it ended up the wrong color. I used Manic Panic's vegan red. This isn't the first time that they've screwed me over with color. So now i'm just going to finish using the bottles of theirs that i do have, then move onto Raw Color, because they have NEVER failed me.
